Membership in the Presbyterian Church is based on a person’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are two ways to become a formal member of Beecroft Presbyterian Church:
- A Letter from your previous Church Minister:
If you have come from another church, ask your previous minister/pastor to send a letter to the BPC Session. This letter needs to indicate that you have been a member in good standing in that particular church. BPC Session can then receive this letter and move to receive you as a communicant member.
- A Membership Class and Public Profession of Faith:
This class seeks to outline the basic aspects of what it means to be a Christian. Then, if a person is ready, they can make a public Profession of Faith (i.e., within one of our church services).
If you are interested in becoming a member, please talk to our Session Clerk or call us.
