Here are a few examples of ways you might be able to serve others at BPC. If you would like to get involved in any of these areas, or have another question about how you can get more involved in the life of the church, please talk to our Minister or one of our Elders, or call us to find out more.

Bible Studies / Growth Groups
- KYB for women: meets Monday 1:30pm to 2:30pm in the Lower Hall during school terms.
- Women’s Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 10am to 11:30am in the Church Hall. Creche is available if needed.
- Bible Study at the home of Rod Best and Louise Baur meets every Wednesday evening.
- Bible Study at the Minto’s meets every second Wednesday evening at 7:30pm.
- Bible Study at the Aroney’s meets every Thursday evening at 7:45pm.
- Bible Study at the Church Hall ‘dungeon’ meets every Sunday morning at 9:00am to 10:15am.
Keeping the church building clean and tidy in preparation for Sunday.
Coffee Bees provides good coffee for connoisseurs during morning tea after the 10:30 am service in the hall. All profits go towards missionaries supported by our church.
Computer and Sound Desk
Volunteers wanted to help set up the sound and operate the computer during the 10:30 service. Basic experience with Windows required. Training provided.
Events for women are organised throughout the year. Past activities have included a bushwalk, cooking demonstrations and craft evenings. Consider attending the next Equip Conference. Check Upcoming Events for details of the next event.
Friends of Missionaries
We support missionaries in several countries, including here in Australia.
Meal Ministry provides meals to those in our church family going through busy or hard times such as after the birth of a baby or during serious illness.
Consider attending the next Men’s Conference in Katoomba.

Praise and Worship Music
The 10:30 service has a band to accompany the congregational singing. Rehearsals occur every two weeks after the 10:30 service.
There is a kid’s band for school aged children who have achieved AMEB Grade 2 or above in a concert band instrument. The kid’s band play at special church services and events.

Prezzie Bees Playtime
Prezzie Bees Playtime is our Play Group for children from birth to school age on Monday 9:30am to 11:30am during school terms. This is faithfully run each week by Rachel Taylor and other mothers from our church.
The Presbyterian Women’s Association seeks to unite women of the Presbyterian church throughout NSW in a friendly comradeship for worship, mutual help and inspiration and for united service to Christ and his church in the local congregation, at home and abroad, by spreading the knowledge of God as revealed in his son Jesus Christ, and to provide a channel for information, expression of opinion and action in all matters which concern women. Our local branch meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the Lower Hall.

Stamps for Missions
Wanted – people to help trim stamps that are then sold to raise money for missions! The fourth Wednesday of each month from 9:00 AM — 12:00 PM in the church hall — come for an hour or stay as long as you are able. Please talk to Elspeth Aroney or call us for further details.

Vivid Youth is our Friday night youth group, and aims to provide a fun, encouraging and positive Christian youth group environment.
