Training Seminar on Pastoral Care: Sunday 19th and 26th February, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, in the church hall led by Jill McGilvray (of St Matthew’s Anglican Church in West Pennant Hills). If you just want to grow in your ability to care for others in need, you too are invited to this training seminar. Please inform Andy or Margaret if you plan to come, and we will order for you a book that accompanies the seminar.
Upcoming Connect Women’s Event: Vision Sisters Birthing Kit Assembly, Saturday 4th March, 2:00pm – 4:30pm in the Church Hall. Ladies, please join us for this very worthwhile afternoon. We will hear Yumi Oba & Melanie Trethowan speak on faith and motherhood. This will be followed by an activity assembling birthing kits for women in Uganda where many mothers and babies succumb to postnatal infection. For as little as $3 each, these kits can be supplied to provide basic sanitary items during labour & delivery. We will also look forward to warm fellowship together over afternoon tea. Invitations are available from Sue Brown, Brenda Minto or Hoiva Cheung. Information is also available at: www.beecroftpresbyterian.org.au/connectwomen.

We need at least 5 men to indicate they will attend and we can then lock in this price for extra tickets. Otherwise the price progressively rises to $105. Please contact Ray Brown if you can commit to this day – you will reap many spiritual benefits and blessings.
