Working Bee: there will be a working bee on Saturday 28th October starting after the mission breakfast at 9:30am. Please see Lewis Burrough for further details.
The Australian Church Women’s Community Day: will be held in the Beecroft Presbyterian Church on Wednesday 26th October, 2017 commencing at 10 a.m. The Guest Speaker will be Nancye Harris. It would be appreciated if ladies attending the function bring a small plate of food for lunch after the service (i.e. sandwiches, slices, cakes). Many thanks.
Facebook: Beecroft Presbyterian Church now has a Facebook page! Please “Like” the page to get regular updates on upcoming events, sermons, photos, videos and to let your friends know what activities our church is running.
The Plant Stall: needs donations of potted plants – in good condition please. Plants can be dropped off on Friday afternoon or arrange with Melanie Trethowan or Nick Aroney for pick up.
Set up and Clean up: helpers are needed on Thursday 2nd November to put up tables and empty the container. We also need people to help clean up on Saturday after the fete. Please see Andy Williamson.
The Jam Stall: would like donations of clean jars and homemade jam as soon as possible. Enquiries and donations to Elizabeth Fenton.
The Cake Stall: is looking for donations of cakes and slices. Cake boxes are available in the church office for those who want them. Please make sure that all ingredients are listed. Drop off goodies on Friday before the fete or early on the fete morning.
Time to Spring Clean:
Pre-Loved Toy Stall: would love to take your unwanted/outgrown toys off your hands. Toys can be left in the container or on the stage in the hall. If you need help transporting them ring Di Boyd. We also need another helper for part of the day so if you can help please let Di Boyd know.
The White Elephant Stall: is looking for unwanted presents, jewellery, china, collectables, records, pictures, bric a brac, fabrics, linens, kitchen utensils, tools and small pieces of furniture. These items can be placed in the Container on the vacant block. No books, electrical appliances or large pieces of furniture please. Contact Pam Wilson.
